Most secondary aluminum ingot manufacturers face a common production bottleneck: densely compressed aluminum scrap briquettes cannot melt evenly in industrial furnaces. Compacted aluminum turnings and chip bales retain cutting oil, air gaps and impurities, resulting in slow melting, high slag rate, and increased aluminum burning loss. Traditional crushers often slip, jam, or wear out rapidly when processing dense metal briquettes, leading to unstable production and frequent equipment maintenance downtime. After adopting the Huatao HT1000 single shaft shredder, dense aluminum briquettes are evenly shredded into loose 40–60mm aluminum fragments. The hydraulic forced feeding system completely solves material slipping and floating problems common with soft aluminum scraps.
