I. What is a Rice Straw Biomass Pellet Machine?

Thermal Bonding (Key Factor): Frictional heat raises the temperature to 70–110°C, causing the lignin within the straw to soften; upon cooling, it solidifies to form a cohesive briquette.

Moisture Regulation: A moisture content of 20–25% is optimal; if too low, the material is difficult to form; if too high, the resulting density is poor, and the briquettes are prone to crumbling.

🍁III. Standard Process Flow

Collection and Impurity Removal: Dry rice straw is collected and cleared of contaminants such as mud, plastic films, and ropes.

Crushing and Shredding: The straw is chopped into lengths of 20–50 mm to ensure the fibers are thoroughly separated and loosened.

Moisture Conditioning:

Wet Material: Sun-dried or mechanically dried to achieve a moisture content of 20–25%.

Dry Material: Sprayed with water to replenish moisture, then thoroughly mixed and left to rest for 4–8 hours.

High-Pressure Molding:

Ring Die Briquetter: Pressure rollers force the material into the die holes, extruding long, cylindrical briquettes (φ30–80 mm).

Hydraulic / Screw Press: Material is advanced via reciprocating or continuous motion to form square or round briquettes.

Cooling and Curing: The discharge temperature is approximately 80–100°C; the briquettes are spread out to cool until their moisture content drops to ≤14%, at which point their structural strength stabilizes.

Packaging and Storage: Briquettes are bundled or bagged for storage in a moisture-proof environment.
